The Art of Walking is a solo project created by musician/songwriter Brian Malvey. In vein of such musicians as
Sufjan Stevens, Death Cab for Cutie, The Elected, & The New Pornographers - The Art of Walking self identifies as
primarily a hybrid of folk and indie rock. This style is aptly displayed on the self titled debut CD which features
breathy, sticky sweet vocals in the boy girl duet "without a word", biting lyrics combined with an irresistable
pop melody in "End it Here", and infectious, electronic beats in such songs as "Happy Now" & "Max
Weber."
